Current Programme

TV programmes such as ‘The Monastery’ and, more recently, ‘Extreme Pilgrim’ highlight a growing interest in retreats.  Many people, including some who don’t belong to organized religion, recognize the value of time set aside for quiet and contemplation.

Reflective Mornings: 10 am -1 pm

19 December, 2008 – Imaginative Scripture Reading
20 February, 2009 – Discernment: finding God in all things
17 April, 2009 - Letting the bible read you

These four half-day sessions together offer a brief introduction to Ignatian prayer.  However, it is not essential that participants commit themselves to every session.
Refreshments provided.  Suggested minimum donation: £3
