TV programmes such as ‘The Monastery’ and, more recently, ‘Extreme Pilgrim’ highlight a growing interest in retreats. Many people, including some who don’t belong to organized religion, recognize the value of time set aside for quiet and contemplation.

20 February, 2009 – Discernment: finding God in all things
17 April, 2009 - Letting the bible read you
These four half-day sessions together offer a brief introduction to Ignatian prayer. However, it is not essential that participants commit themselves to every session.

This corner house is in the centre of Kirkcudbright next to Historic Scotland’s property, MacLellan Castle. There is parking on both Castle and St Cuthbert Streets and in the Harbour car park, 2 minutes walk away.
